Jon Jones hangs out with Hasbulla as fans claim he’s ‘doing everything except fighting Tom Aspinall’

Jon Jones continues to rub fans up the wrong way with his extracurricular activities.

The UFC heavyweight champion has not fought since knocking out Stipe Miocic to defend his title at UFC 309 in November.

Since then, Jon Jones has been locked in talks for a unification bout with interim champion Tom Aspinall.

Negotiations have been protracted and ‘Bones’ is seen as the reason the fight hasn’t been announced yet.

Fans react to Jon Jones hanging out with Hasbulla

Jones recently irked fans by signing up to coach opposite Nate Diaz on a Russian reality TV show.

Now, he’s been caught on camera literally breaking bread with 3ft 4in social media star Hasbulla.

The wholesome footage would usually be greeted with glee by MMA fans, but after seeing what Jones was up to during his trip to Thailand, they all said the same thing.

“Anything instead of fighting Tom Aspinall,” one fan commented. While another added: “No one cares. Fight Tom.”

“Still hiding from Tom. Strip this clown,” a third fan demanded.

“Homeboy doing everything except signing the contract,” someone else said.

“I would like to see him hang out with Tom Aspinall,” a fifth fan wrote.

Dana White provides Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall update

On Tuesday, UFC CEO Dana White hopped on Instagram Live to announce a ton of fight news.

It was confirmed Islam Makhachev will vacate his lightweight title, which will be on the line when Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira clash at UFC 317 on June 28.

White also shared a date and location for the middleweight title fight between Dricus du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev, which will take place at UFC 319 in Chicago on August 16.

There was nothing official, but White did provide a Jones vs Aspinall update to ease fan fears.

“I told you guys already, we’ll get Aspinall vs Jones done,” he said.

“The heavyweight fight will happen.

“Just relax, I’ll announce that soon.”
