PFL is continuing its expansion into different world markets with a new league launching in Australia and New Zealand.
PFL Pacific will be the latest tournament for the promotion’s international expansion following the successful European and Middle East & North Africa (MENA) launches in recent years. They are also set to kick off PFL Africa this summer which sees the return of Dakota Ditcheva.
After that, focuses will turn to another big money tournament launching in Australia. It will feature the next generation of talent from the region that brought fans world champions like Israel Adesanya, Rob Wilkinson and the newly-crowned Jack Della Maddalena.
PFL Atlantic sets official launch for 2026
Since establishing their Global Season and now a World Tournament, PFL have always been keen to bring their brand of MMA around the world in regional formats. In 2023, they had the first European tournament, followed by a sequel in 2024 and the inaugural PFL MENA.

Their next port of call is PFL Africa, helmed by the legendary heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, which kicks off in Cape Town on July 26. And it has now been confirmed that in 2026 they will continue growing with PFL Pacific in Australia and New Zealand.
The league comes as part of a major media partnership with Nine in Australia, featuring coverage across Stan Sport, 9Now and the 9Network. It will see competitors from around the region compete over four events in a knockout tournament next year.
