UFC fans have been sent into a state of excitement as UFC boss Dana White is set to make a huge announcement.
Fans were left fuming this past weekend at UFC 315 after Dana White skipped the post-fight press conference, potentially dodging questions regarding the UFC 317 main event, which is still yet to be announced.
International Fight Week’s UFC 317 is scheduled to take place from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 28, and with tickets scheduled to go on sale this Friday, it has never been left so late to announce the main event.
Earlier this week, UFC light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev claimed that he was offered the chance to headline the event in a rematch against Alex Pereira.

Fans predict UFC 317 main event with Dana White announcement imminent
This Tuesday, the UFC announced on their social media channels that Dana White will be going live later this Tuesday to make a big announcement, which has led fans to believe that the UFC 317 main event will finally be announced.
Following the UFC 315 main event this past Saturday, Islam Makhachev‘s next fight is likely to be against Jack Della Maddalena, however, that is too soon to headline June 28.
Despite that, the result has now opened up Ilia Topuria‘s next fight, which will likely come against Charles Oliveira.
It is unclear as of this moment whether the fight will be contended for an interim lightweight title or if they will fight for number one contendership.
“Probably gonna be what we already know. Ilia vs Charles for interim lightweight title, and maybe they’ll announce Dricus Du Plessis vs Khamzat Chimaev date,” one fan commented.
“Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall booked or stripping Jones. One or the other. Don’t care which at this point,” another fan commented.
“If it’s not Aspinall vs Jones we don’t care,” a third fan reacted.
Jon Jones was hounded by thousands of UFC fans this morning when he went live on his Instagram, with fans calling him a ‘duck’.
Fans continue to predict the UFC’s huge imminent announcement
It’s fair to say, the majority of fans are hopeful that the announcement is a heavyweight title unification fight between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall, especially as Aspinall recently had a meeting with the UFC.
“If this isn’t Aspinall and Jones, I give up,” another fan said.
“Aspinall vs Ciryl Gane and Topuria vs Oliveira for interim belts,” another fan predicted.
