Conor McGregor believes fans witnessed the greatest of all time in action at UFC 315.
The former dual-weight UFC champion has remained mostly quiet about the event that saw Belal Muhammad lose his welterweight belt to Jack Della Maddalena.
‘Notorious’ had only shared a four-word reaction to Jose Aldo retiring on Saturday night.
However, Conor McGregor has now heaped praise on another star who fought at UFC 315.

Conor McGregor brands Valentina Shevchenko GOAT
In the UFC 315 co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko beat Manon Fiorot by unanimous decision.
After five rounds of nip-and-tuck action, all three judges scored the flyweight title fight 48-47 in favor of ‘Bullet’.
On Sunday, Conor McGregor expressed his belief that Valentina Shevchenko is the greatest female fighter in UFC history ahead of celebrated legends like Ronda Rousey, Amanda Nunes, and Cris Cyborg.
“Valentina ‘Bullet’ Shevchenko is simply otherworldly,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
“Magnificent female fighter. The GOAT female for me.”
What’s next for Conor McGregor?
Conor McGregor hasn’t fought since breaking his leg at UFC 264 in July 2021.
The Irishman has spent most of the past four years on the sidelines talking up a potential UFC return
In 2025, comeback chatter has been almost non-existent, causing fans to worry that he’ll never fight again.
McGregor recently eased retirement fears when he expressed his interest in potentially facing the winner of Michael Chandler vs Paddy Pimblett, which took place at UFC 314 in Miami last month.
Post-fight, the 36-year-old overlooked Pimblett’s TKO victory as he talked up ‘unfinished business’ with Chandler.
UFC CEO Dana White hasn’t addressed McGregor’s MMA return for quite some time.
Fans hoping to get an update at UFC 315 were left disappointed when White skipped the post-fight press conference.
