Dana White has provided a grim update on Belal Muhammad’s health after UFC 315.
Jack Della Maddalena dethroned the welterweight champion with a unanimous decision win at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on Saturday night.
Both men were left battered and bruised after their five-round Fight of the Night for UFC gold.
Dana White‘s latest social media post suggests Belal Muhammad is facing a lengthy injury layoff.

A few hours after UFC 315 concluded, White took to his Instagram story to praise Muhammad.
The UFC CEO shared a close-up image of the former champion’s mangled face with a caption confirming the three major injuries he suffered during his fight with Jack Della Maddalena.
White wrote: “What a war!!
“Broken nose, orbital, and split lip #respect.”

As fight fans began dreaming of Jack Della Maddalena facing Islam Makhachev later this year, Belal Muhammad was licking his many wounds.
Still, ‘Remember The Name’ kept it classy when he took to social media in the aftermath of UFC 315.
