Conor McGregor’s new training footage results in fans pointing out the same thing

Conor McGregor has once again teased fans with a training video, potentially hinting at a comeback to action.

Prior to UFC 314 which took place this past April, Conor McGregor declared his interest in fighting the winner of the co-main event between Michael Chandler and Paddy Pimblett.

The Irishman then claimed he and Chandler have ‘unfinished business’ despite the fact that Pimblett destroyed the American in the third round.

After teasing that he and Chandler may finally fight, McGregor went on to outline a major stipulation that he will only return if he is booked to fight in a stadium.

Conor McGregor posts new training video

Although ‘The Notorious’ constantly hints at a return to the sport, UFC mainstay Joe Rogan isn’t confident that he will return.

Despite that, it hasn’t stopped McGregor from training, and although at one point it seemed likely that if he returned to combat sports, it would be with BKFC, he has been sharpening up his MMA tools.

“No shot, bro is holding a full sized wall mat,” one fan pointed out the size of McGregor’s coach holding a giant pad.

“Yo, what is that pad?” another fan reacted.

“This dude’s never fighting again, right?” a third fan questioned.

“Please tell me he’s throwing that slow on purpose?” another fan critiqued.

The main reaction from the fans is that the former UFC double champion is looking slow, albeit he is only hitting pads.

However, the Irishman is likely to look slow as he hasn’t fought since 2021 and is now 36 years old with a lifestyle that is potentially slowing him down.

“Looking slow for the first time,” another fan stated.

“Look at how stiff he is, lol,” a sixth fan said.

One huge factor puts McGregor’s UFC return into doubt

Although some part of the UFC fanbase is hopeful that McGregor will fight at least once more under the UFC banner, there is one big factor that is currently delaying that potential.

According to the UFC’s Anti-doping database, McGregor is yet to register a test session this year, meaning his return is unable to happen and can only happen six months after he has registered a test session.
