‘You’re going to sleep’… Eddie Hall opens up about potential superfight with Francis Ngannou

Eddie Hall has revealed that he’d love to set foot inside the cage with Francis Ngannou for an epic showdown.

On April 26, at KSW 105, ‘The Beast’ produced a spectacular performance, rendering Mariusz Pudzianowski unconscious inside the very first round.

Now, the 2017 World’s Strongest Man confessed he’d happily take an enormous step up in competition to go head-to-head with ‘The Predator’.

With dynamite in his hands, the Englishman is confident that it wouldn’t be impossible for him to land the knockout blow.

Eddie Hall says he could knock Francis Ngannou out

On paper, Eddie Hall vs Francis Ngannou isn’t necessarily a competitive fight. After all, the Cameroonian has proven himself as one of, if not the best, heavyweight on the planet, while the Brit has only had one professional contest.

However, according to the UFC’s PowerKube machine, Hall actually hits harder than Ngannou. And it’s this Earth-shattering power that’s giving the strongman the belief that he’d have a slim chance of upsetting the apple cart.

In an interview on Michael Bisping’s YouTube channel, the powerhouse explained: “I got asked the question straight after I fought Mariusz, and I was like, ‘Look guys, don’t put my name in the same conversation as Francis Ngannou, that’s just ridiculous’.

“But having thought about it, I’ve actually had a few nudges from some federations. Look, you put me in the ring with Francis Ngannou, with good training, don’t get me wrong, 95 times out of 100, Francis Ngannou wins that fight. But it’s that 5%, I’ve just got that knockout power.

“He’s still a human being at the end of the day. If I get that on the end of your chin, you’re going to sleep. That’s why in my head I’m like, ‘Why not’?

“If the money is right, the money has got to be right to risk your life, why wouldn’t I take that fight? I’ve got a small chance, and I’d take it.”

Deontay Wilder gives huge update on potential Francis Ngannou fights in boxing and MMA

While a fight with Hall would undoubtedly capture the attention of the fans, there are other options for Ngannou.

Most notably, Deontay Wilder would revel in the opportunity to trade leather with the PFL Super Fights heavyweight champion.

A potential clash would pit possibly the two hardest hitters in combat sports history against one another in a battle that could end at any given second.

Now, Wilder has given an update on talks for boxing and MMA fights with Ngannou.
