Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson’s favorite KO was against Wanderlei Silva
Quinton Jackson and Wanderlei Silva shared an intense rivalry, with the pair going to war on four separate occasions.
The Brazilian won both of their fights in Pride, meaning when the American got his third shot at the icon at UFC 92, he simply couldn’t afford to lose.
Rampage has since claimed that Silva hated him because he wasn’t afraid of him. Despite the previous results, the Memphis brawler entered the contest wholeheartedly believing that he could gain his redemption.
And he did so in abundance, landing a left hook that put his arch-nemesis to sleep.
In an exclusive interview with Bloody Elbow, the fan favorite stated: “My favorite knockout was against Wanderlei Silva when I finally knocked him out in the UFC.”
When the pair eventually met for the fourth time, almost ten years later at Bellator 206, it was Rampage who won via KO once again to finally even up the score.
