Fans were shocked to see Jiri Prochazka make a bizarre cameo at RIZIN’s latest event.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion KO’d Jamahal Hill at UFC 311 in January.
It was a win that seemingly put him on the cusp of another shot at MMA’s greatest prize.
While he waits for his next fight date from Dana White, Jiri Prochazka made an appearance during an event held by one of the UFC’s biggest rivals, leaving a bunch of fight fans confused in the process.

Jiri Prochazka steals the show during RIZIN opening ceremony
On Sunday, Prochazka made a cameo at RIZIN’s Otoko Matsuri event at the Tokyo Dome.
Alex Pereira was also there, but the Brazilian KO artist did not take part in the elaborate opening ceremony, which saw Prochazka join Coleman and five other ‘legendary fighters’ on stage for a truly amazing performance.
The UFC duo wore nothing but a Mawashi as they banged drums in front of a massive crowd of people.
Fire bolts shot out of the floor as dozens of drummers joined the fighters on stage for the epic introduction.
UFC fans all asked the same question after footage of Prochazka’s RIZIN cameo went viral.
“What is Jiri Prochazka up to!?” one fan laughed. While another added: “What the f— is Jiri wearing, man?”
“TF is Jiri doing man,” a third X user commented.
“Jiri is in his element,” someone else wrote.
“I’m hearing nobody actually invited Jiri. He just turned up like this,” a fifth fan joked.
“I love Jiří Procházka. That’s the tweet,” this amused X user said.
Mark Coleman reacts to RIZIN cameo
On Sunday, Coleman shared an Instagram post reacting to his appearance at RIZIN’s latest event.
The caption read: “Blessed to take part in the opening ceremonies of the 2025 Rizen Grand Prix!
“I got to pound the drums in front of thousands. Yes, I felt very comfortable in my undies..
“My goal was to make my Pride GP weight 228 lbs But decided to go lower 224lbs, my Shogun Rua fight weight. Yes, I felt great that night! I dropped 30 lbs in 3weeks. And now that it’s over, I sure am going to enjoy gaining 40 pounds back probably before I land in America.
