Jiri Prochazka went out before he KO’d Dominick Reyes

Prochazka delivered a spinning elbow to Reyes’ jaw to leave him face-down on the Octagon floor.

However, the 32-year-old later admitted that his opponent landed the first knockout blow of the fight.

During their wild brawl, Reyes cracked Prochazka with an upkick to momentarily put him to sleep.

During a post-fight appearance on Michael Bisping‘s podcast, ‘BJP’ confessed he was out cold.

“The second situation, that was the kick from the ground to my head,” Prochazka said.

“That was a knockout. That was a knockout. And nobody knows that.

“For one or two seconds I was out.”

Did Dominick Reyes beat Jon Jones at UFC 247?

Reyes went into his clash with Prochazka following back-to-back title fight defeats.

The first of them was a controversial unanimous decision loss against Jon Jones at UFC 247 in February 2020.

Reyes and many other people thought he did enough to dethrone the greatest fighter in UFC history.

A four-fight losing skid followed before ‘The Dominator’ managed to revive his career as a top contender.

Three KO wins in a row have put Reyes on the cusp of earning another shot at UFC gold.

Prochazka is in the mix aswell, so it’s highly likely they will run it back in the near future.
