Tom Aspinall believes Eddie Hall’s next MMA fight should come against a fellow ‘beast’ as he continues to make a splash in the sport.
This past Saturday, former World’s Strongest Man, Eddie Hall made his professional MMA debut against fellow strongman, Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105.
Hall dispatched of Pudzianowski within the first 30 seconds of round one, scoring a blockbuster KO win in his first pro MMA bout, however, it came with its controversy as Pudzianowski accused him of cheating in the fight.
‘The Beast’ went on to admit that he accidentally hit his opponent with several shots to the back of the head, but claimed it wasn’t deliberate.
Pudzianowski somewhat accepted Hall’s apology, submitting that the Brit was just better than him on the day, despite the Pole’s extensive MMA experience.

Tom Aspinall on who Eddie Hall should fight next
Ahead of his highly anticipated MMA debut, Hall trained extensively with UFC interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall.
Aspinall shared his immediate reaction to Hall’s dominant win, congratulating his teammate with a hilarious meme online.
And now, after such a viral first fight in the cage, fans have been left wondering who Hall could fight next, with there even having been talks of him being Francis Ngannou’s next opponent.
Despite that, it is much more likely that Hall will be involved in another ‘freakshow’ type fight, and he has already been called out by two influencers that he brutalized in a 2v1 fight last year.
However, after sharing more of his reaction of Hall’s 30-second win, Aspinall made a suggestion for who he should fight next.
“Eddie Hall is like 150 kilos (330lbs), if that guy punches you, and I have been punched by Eddie Hall, at 150 odd kilos, it’s not very pleasant,” Aspinall reacted in a video on his YouTube channel.
“I’ve seen Pudzianowski fight live a couple of times and I wasn’t impressed but that isn’t taking away from Eddie, Eddie’s a beginner and he’s gone in and done that, so, fair play.
“I’m a bit of an MMA purist so I like to see skills in there, but I still watch it, so I think he should maybe fight someone, maybe, Brian Shaw, someone like that, some big beast that’s gonna swing as well,” Aspinall continued.
Who is Brian Shaw?
Brian Shaw is a fellow World’s Strongest Man winner, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all time.
Following is extremely successful strong man career, Shaw set himself the goal to become the ‘Most Dangerous Man on Earth’ and transitioned to MMA.
Although the American has never competed in the cage, he has been training the sport for several years and he and Hall were even scheduled to fight in 2024 in a World’s Strongest Man MMA tournament, but it was subsequently canceled.
