Who Is Mariusz Pudzianowski? From World’s Strongest Man to MMA Powerhouse

There are few strongmen who can match Mariusz Pudzianowski’s dominance in the sport, and even fewer who would step into the ring with him.

The five-time World’s Strongest Man is one of the greatest strength athletes of all time and has made a name for himself in MMA since 2009.

Mariusz Pudzianowski has beaten legends like Bob Sapp and Rolles Gracie in hard-hitting bouts that showed his dominance in the ring.

With Pudzianowski set to fight Eddie Hall, he has the chance to prove himself to be the most dominant strongman of all time.

How old is Mariusz Pudzianowski?

Mariusz Pudzianowski is 48 years old, making him quite old to be fighting in the octagon. The Dominator was born on February 7, 1977, in Poland. It was in Poland that he spent 19 months in prison for assault from 2000 to 2001.

Who is Mariusz Pudzianowski’s wife?

Little is known about Pudzianowski’s family life, and he does not appear to be married, or have ever been married.

However, he does have a daughter named Weronika, although there is very little information about her available. We can assume she lives in Poland, where her father and presumably mother live.

Mariusz Pudzianowski height and weight

Pudzianowski is billed at 6 feet 1 inch tall, or 185 cm. As he competed at a high level in strongman competitions, there is no doubt that this measurement was accurate.

As he competed in various strength competitions, Pudzianowski’s weight varies depending on the time of year. Outside of competitions, he weighs in at 256 lbs, although that can balloon to 313 lbs when he is competing in strongman events.

Mariusz Pudzianowski’s net worth

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Pudzianowski has an estimated net worth of around $8 million. He earned this through a variety of ways, including his career in strongman events and fighting in the ring.

Mariusz Pudzianowski’s next fight

Pudzianowski’s next fight is a clash against fellow former “World Strongest Man” Eddie Hall at KSW 105.

The bout has been titled “World’s Strongest Clash”, and for good reason. These men are two of the strongest humans in history.

While Hall may not have the experience in the ring, he has the strength to match Pudzianowski and holds a weight advantage going into KSW 105.

While the bout won’t be a mat classic, it should surely be exciting. Hall knocked out the Neffati brothers recently in a two-on-one fight, but this bout with the Dominator is a whole different beast.

Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. Butterbean

It took just 75 seconds for Pudzianowski to put down Butterbean in their boxer vs fighter clash in 2010.

At KSW 14: Judgement Day, the Pole destroyed the former boxer in a hugely one-sided fight. Despite being known as a knockout artist, Butterbean was made to pay for his arrogance as soon as the bell rang.

Pudzianowski immediately tackled Butterbean to the ground and began to pummel him into submission. After just over a minute, Butterbean gave the signal for the referee to stop the match and hand Pudzianowski the victory.

Mariusz Pudzianowski vs. Bob Sapp

Pudzianowski dove straight into the deep end when he transitioned to MMA back in 2009.

In just his seventh fight ever, the Pole took on a legend of MMA in Bob Sapp. The K-1 legend was one of the biggest draws ever in Japan, and became a star in fighting and pro wrestling based on his ability in the ring.

However, their 2012 match came at a bad time, when Sapp was on a 14-fight losing streak and coasting off his past reputation. He looked like he didn’t want to be there, and the Dominator looked up for the fight much more than he did.

It took less than a minute before the ref called for the bell. Pudzianowski battered Sapp, delivering punch after punch until the American cowered on the floor, waiting for the referee to end the fight.
