Eddie Hall claims world’s hardest punch as he makes KO promise ahead of 600lb fight

If the title of ‘World’s Strongest Man’ wasn’t telling enough, you don’t want to get hit by Eddie Hall.

A legendary strongman who almost died setting a deadlifting record, England’s Eddie Hall continues to etch his name in the history books years after he became known as the World’s Strongest Man in 2017.

Having stepped away from competition, Hall challenges himself in other ways, from arm-wrestling to fighting two opponents inside of the cage at once, there’s not much Hall can’t do.

His last fight more of a sideshow, Hall enters his first traditional MMA fight this weekend against 26-fight veteran and five-time World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105.

Despite the experience advantage for the Polishman Pudzianowski, Hall has Pudzianowski beat in another key area: power.

Eddie Hall says he hits harder than Alex Pereira, Francis Ngannou

Over the years, we’ve seen many hard hitters come through the UFC Performance Institute to test their power on the PowerKube machine, which calculates the driving force behind every punch.

Ex-UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou held onto the feat of the world’s hardest punch until former light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira surpassed by over 60,000 units.

This time last year, Hall shattered the record at 208,901 units.

“I set the world record punch,” Hall said during a media scrum ahead of his fight with Pudzianowski.

“As of now, I don’t wanna make the claim officially, but I have got the hardest punch on the planet.

“That’s been recorded via a punch measuring machine at the UFC [Performance] Institute.”

Eddie Hall says Mariusz Pudzianowski’s chin won’t stand a chance

On Friday, Hall weighed in at a whopping 334lbs, by far Pudzianowski’s biggest opponent to date.

Across from him, Pudzianowski weighed in at 267lbs with Hall having 67lbs on him.

Super-heavyweight fights like this one, tend to end in a brutal knockout and Hall vs. Pudzianowski could be very well be determined by who’s able to land first.

While he might not have as much MMA know-how as his opponent, Eddie Hall believes the five-time World’s Strongest Man will fall by his hand.

“I mean, look, I can land one of those on somebody’s face,” Hall said.

“I don’t care if it’s Mariusz or King Kong… you’re getting knocked out.”
