Eddie Hall was sent hurtling toward the canvas after a monstrous head kick detonated on his chin.
Having cemented his legendary status by becoming the 2017 World’s Strongest Man, it’s fair to say the Brit is a terrifying individual. After all, Hall beat Alex Pereira’s world’s hardest punch record.
But while he carries awe-inspiring power, converting his skill set to MMA takes a lot of time, as he found out during a brutal sparring session.
In a horrifying moment, the icon had to drag himself up off the floor.

Eddie Hall dropped by a massive head kick in training
Eddie Hall was initially scheduled to make his MMA debut on February 17, 2024, against Mitchell Hooper, in a match-up that never materialized.
Regardless, the strongman still put in the hours inside the gym, in a bid to hone his craft.
During this period, he shared a video on his YouTube channel of himself sparring a dangerous 6ft9 Russian with lethal strikes.
During his commentary of the sparring footage, Hall says: “I was very cautious with this guy, didn’t want to attack him to be honest, just wanted to feel each other out.
“And you’ll wait and see, I get a nice little kick to the face in a second.”
Right on cue, the fighter lands a thunderous left high kick on the Englishman’s head, sending him tumbling toward the ground.
Assuring everyone that he was alright, Hall exclaimed: “That’s Okay. That was a good one! F— my life, someone could have told me about that back leg!”
Hall finally fought in MMA later that year in a two-on-one matchup against the Neffati Brothers, in which he brutally finished both men.
However, on Saturday night at KSW 105, he’ll have a much harder task on his hands, when he goes to war with 5x World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski.
Rico Verhoeven dropped Eddie Hall with a devastating kick
The towering Eastern European isn’t the only gifted striker that Hall has taken a shot off.
Ahead of his rematch with Levi Rigters, Rico Verhoeven welcomed the Englishman into his camp to show him what it takes to become a Glory champion.
During this time, the Dutchman took the powerhouse through his training regimen as he showed him what he does on a daily basis.
Then, things went up a notch, with Verhoeven dropping Hall with a monstrous kick.
