Khabib Nurmagomedov was spotted giving a teammate a ‘dressing down’ in new footage from the training room.
Islam Makhachev showed off some clips from inside the famously secretive Dagestani team’s gym, in which the UFC legend can be seen telling off a teammate for oversleeping. The team is known for being incredibly disciplined, but it appears that slipped for a second and led to a shredding.
The teammate in the video appears to be Tagir Ulanbekov, who was tasked with getting fighters to training. Khabib has since re-shared one of the videos, as well as other footage from inside the Nurmagomedov MMA School.

Khabib Nurmagomedov disciplines teammates in leaked footage
Islam Makhachev has shared a video of Khabib Nurmagomedov going after one of his teammates for oversleeping and missing a recent training session. The legendary former UFC champion is a stickler for taking the fight game seriously, and was not happy with his teammate.
Makhachev captioned the post “Morning, not good” and “Morning dressing down.” A translation of the clip by Home of Fight claims that Nurmagomedov can be seen saying: “Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – three days, you’re on duty.
“They won’t be coming, Tagir you’re on duty. You understand? Last time, why didn’t they show up to the training?” When Ulanbekov attempts to argue, he is asked again to which he responds that he overslept causing other fighters to miss training.
Ulanbekov then pleads his case, noting that he can surely be allowed to oversleep once. Nurmagomedov replies by asking: “Wait, what’s your responsibilities when you are on duty? What did you do to take care of them?”
Makhachev can then be heard laughing and asking what is going on so early in the morning. Ulanbekov also insists that the fighters who overslept were punished.

For years, Khabib’s dad Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov used to run the Nurmagomedov MMA School and take charge of the fight camps going on in the famed gym. However, since his passing in 2020 and Khabib’s retirement a few months later, the former UFC champion has taken over his position.
“He’s taken the team to another level because he’s the greatest of all time, in my opinion,” Coach Javier Mendez told CBS Sports earlier this year of his position. “He received great tutelage from his father since he was a young boy.
“These guys grew up as kids together… They were little boys training together, aspiring to be the same. The father had a plan for all of them to rule. For Khabib to rule, then Islam to come and the others follow suit. That’s exactly what’s happening. It’s the biggest honor for them to be in that position.”
