UFC star Loopy Godinez had to overcome one of the scariest moments a fighter can endure to secure her latest victory.
The hometown star got back in the win column at UFC Mexico City on Saturday night as she took a decision victory over Julia Polastri. She had lost her previous two outings including one against fan favorite Mackenzie Dern, and knew her octagon career was on the line with a loss.
As such, she powered through even a potentially humiliating moment to make sure she earned victory in her home country. Godinez was caught on camera telling her coaches that she needed to use the bathroom during her fight, but managed to go without any embarrassing moments.

After two rounds of her fight with Julia Polastri, Loopy Godinez was two rounds up and just needed to hold on for five minutes to get back to winning ways. However, between the second and third disaster almost struck due to a call of nature.
As the cameras were filming the corners, Godinez was spotted telling her coaches ‘Holy s—, I need to poop, holy f—.” Her trainer seemed caught off guard and stifled a laugh, before her team reminded her she just had to get through five more minutes.
The moment instantly caught traction on social media, with some fans jokingly giving the fighter a new nickname of ‘Poopy Godinez’. However, she ultimately did battle through and came out with a victory that brings her right back into contention at strawweight.

The comical moment between rounds wasn’t the only time Godinez excited viewers on the night, as she got Daniel Cormier out of his seat with a pro wrestling move brought to the cage. The legendary two-weight world champion was amazed as about a minute in she threw a rare slam to the ground.
“Powerbomb,” he roared down the microphone with glee. “That was a powerbomb there by Loopy. I love that. The last time I saw a fighter get slammed like that was when Rose Namajunas got knocked out by Jessica Andrade.
“Godinez catches the leg,, most people would run her to the Octagon, but not when you’re Psycho Sid. She goes up and she goes down to the big-time slam. Let it run, boys. Up and boom with the Psycho Sid powerbomb. That is so crazy! I haven’t seen that in the Octagon for a long time.”
