The UFC’s going south of the border not once but twice this year.
The premier MMA promotion has made it a tradition to have a UFC event commemorating Mexican Independence Day and the Mexican culture. Its name? Noche UFC.
It all started on Mexican Independence Day weekend 2023 with Noche UFC coming to be with Guadalajara’s Alexa Grasso headlining a Fight Night card against Valentina Shevchenko in Las Vegas.
The year after, the UFC kept it going, one-upping their previous event with an iconic venue at the Sphere in September.
Following the massive success of last year’s Noche UFC (UFC 306), a visual masterpiece that cost $20M to put on, the UFC’s going to a brand new location they’ve never been to.

UFC 320 announced for Guadalajara
In what will be the UFC’s next Noche UFC event, the promotion heads to Guadalajara for UFC 320 on Sep. 13.
The pay-per-view event will be held from the Arena Guadalajara.
It’s a new venue with a 22,000-seat capacity.
Mexican boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez is expected to fight Terrence Crawford the same weekend in Las Vegas.
“Better that it’s in Mexico this time. But all of Guadalajara will be watching Canelo that night,” one fan wrote on X.
Mexican fighters who could be on Noche UFC 3
With less than six months out, no fights have been announced for the card.
The Noche UFC announcement was made hot off the heels of tonight’s UFC Mexico City card which features Brandon Moreno and a new generation of Mexican fighters such as Raul Rosas Jr. and David Martinez, who could very well be on the Guadalajara card, come September.
Home to Alexa Grasso, it’s likely we’ll see the former flyweight queen fight there too. Grasso has a fight coming up against top contender Natalia Silva at UFC 315 in May, which is her first since losing the title to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 306 at the Sphere.
Yair Rodriguez is another Mexican star we could see at UFC 320. He competes at UFC 314 across from former Bellator Champion Patricio Pitbull next month.
Don’t forget about UFC 314 headliner Diego Lopes, who represents both Brazil and Mexico. Lopes challenges Alexander Volkanovski for the vacant featherweight title on Apr. 12.
