Ronda Rousey had explicit one-word reaction after Dana White offered her millions to fight Holly Holm

Ronda Rousey wasn’t enthralled after accepting a multi-million-dollar offer to fight Holly Holm.

In August 2015, ‘Rowdy’ stretched her perfect MMA record to 12-0 to defend the UFC bantamweight title.

Rousey made her trash-talking opponent, Bethe Correia, pay in a terrifying 34-second knockout win at UFC 190.

Three months later, the pound-for-pound best female fighter on the planet’s incredible run came to a devastating end when she was famously and brutally knocked out cold by Holly Holm in the UFC 193 main event.

Ronda Rousey’s X-rated reaction to Holly Holm fight offer

Last year, Ronda Rousey opened up about her life and career in a memoir titled ‘Our Fight’.

The 38-year-old’s book made headlines as it included previously unknown information about the concussion issue that led to Rousey’s premature retirement from combat sports in 2016.

In another extract from the book, the MMA legend recalled her reaction to a conversation with Dana White, who offered her millions to headline against Holm on just one month’s notice.

Rousey reluctantly accepted the fight due to her commitment to White, which she described as a ‘blood oath’.

“‘F—,’ I sighed as I hung up the phone from Dana,” she wrote.

“For the first time since my MMA career started, I didn’t feel raring to fight. I just felt tired.”

Will Ronda Rousey ever fight again?

A second successive knockout loss against Amanda Nunes saw Rousey retire at 29 years old.

The WMMA pioneer has ruled out ever making a return to fighting due to her concussion issue.

Still, fans continue to get excited about a potential Rousey comeback every time she posts on social media.

Rousey recently reunited with an old UFC rival she tapped out in 14 seconds, Cat Zingano. The unlikely duo trained together in viral footage that shows the ex-fighter trying to get back into the swing of things after the birth of her second child.

Fans will continue to clamour for a comeback, but it’s very unlikely we’ll ever see Rousey inside the Octagon again.
