Logan Paul reveals Dana White had a brutal reaction when he offered to fight at UFC 300

Logan Paul has revealed he was brutally snubbed by Dana White ahead of UFC 300.

Last April, the UFC CEO spent over $20 million putting together a spectacular show at the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Sphere before delivering a historic night of fights that won’t be replicated anytime soon.

Logan Paul saw the vision, so he reached out to the MMA mogul and asked if he could fight at UFC 300.

However, Dana White‘s reaction left the YouTuber-turned-boxer and WWE star feeling like he’ll never get the chance to compete in MMA’s premier league.

Logan Paul ghosted by Dana White after UFC 300 offer

On Tuesday, Logan Paul released a podcast with the UFC interim heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall.

During their chat, the English knockout artist accused Jon Jones of ‘conning the public’ amid protracted negotiations for their unification clash, which Dana White claims is ‘done’ but not done enough to officially announce.

Naturally, the conversation got onto Paul’s combat sports career. The 29-year-old is not a real fighter, but he shared the boxing ring with KSI, Floyd Mayweather, and Dillon Danis before expressing an interest in trying his luck in MMA.

‘The Maverick’ made a play to fight Paddy Pimblett in 2022, but nothing came of their online beef.

So, when he heard about UFC 300, Paul offered up his services in a direct message to the UFC boss.

“I told Dana for UFC 300, I texted him, ‘Hey man, consider me available to fight on the undercard in the Sphere,” Paul said.

“Basically completely ignored me, which I think speaks volumes. I haven’t bothered him about it since.

“I think for the right fight, the right amount of money [I would do it], and I’m an entertainer at the end of the day.”

Logan Paul blames CM Punk for UFC snub

Several WWE stars have transitioned to the UFC over the years with mixed results.

Brock Lesnar famously won the UFC heavyweight championship after pausing his career in pro wrestling.

However, there’s been a distinct lack of WWE-MMA crossovers since CM Punk’s disastrous UFC run.

Paul thinks that’s the reason White ghosted his text and is uninterested in him fighting for the UFC.

“He f—– it up,” he said about Punk. “He f—– it up, and after that Dana was like ‘I’m never doing this again.’

“But dude, I’m not CM Punk. He’s a great wrestler, not a UFC fighter. I think I would be a much better UFC fighter than I would just a boxer. My skill is wrestling. I’m a wrestler.”
