BKFC Fight Night: Hollywood is in the headlines after a wild brawl broke out at Wednesday’s ceremonial weigh-in.
BKFC Fight Night: Hollywood features a main event between former Justin Gaethje rival, Luis Palomino, and Howard Davis. The Palomino vs. Davis winner could potentially be next in line for a title shot.
While Palomino vs. Davis is getting most of the love ahead of an eventful BKFC Fight Night card, the co-main event features more heat, courtesy of heavyweights Leonardo Perdomo and Steve Herelius.
Perdomo vs. Herelius is expected to be a firefight on Thursday in Hollywood. But fireworks broke out during their final face-to-face encounter before fight night at Wednesday’s ceremonial weigh-in.

Leonardo Perdomo charges at BKFC opponent with a scale during weigh-in brawl
After a heated staredown between Perdomo and Herelius, the two heavyweights faced forward for photo opportunities to the media members in attendance. But the trash talk didn’t stop as they posed for photos.
Herelius pointed to his wrist in an ‘it’s almost time’ gesture towards Perdomo. But after Perdomo got his say with Herelius, and dropped a racial slur, Herelius attempted to slap Perdomo before BKFC head Dave Feldman could intervene.
Perdomo responded by throwing a left hand at Herelius that appeared to land on his shoulder blade, barely missing his chin. Chaos ensued as security charged the stage to try to calm tensions.
But despite separating the two sides, Herelius picked up the BKFC weigh-in scale and attempted to charge at Perdomo to resume their brawl.

Conor McGregor reacts to BKFC Fight Night weigh-in brawl
UFC superstar Conor McGregor, a part-owner at BKFC, didn’t take long to weigh in on the chaotic scene on his social media accounts. Despite the brawl, McGregor appeared to enjoy the fight he saw from both heavyweights.
“Absolutely Murderous! See you tomorrow night for Bare Knuckle at the HardRock!” McGregor posted on X.
McGregor, who hasn’t appeared in the UFC Octagon in nearly four years, has expressed interest in fighting bare-knuckle at some point in his career. McGregor came face-to-face with Jeremy Stephens after the latter’s win over the Irish former champion’s former rival, Eddie Alvarez, earlier this year.
A McGregor vs. Stephens fight could come to fruition after Stephens’s upcoming one-off in the UFC Octagon. Stephens will face Mason Jones at UFC Des Moines in May.
McGregor has repeatedly teased a return to MMA, but as of this writing, nothing is solidified for his potential comeback. He withdrew from UFC 303 last June in his comeback fight against Michael Chandler due to injury.
