Joe Rogan has done everything in his power to convince Dana White and the UFC that they’re heading in the wrong direction with one particular move they’ve made.
The popular broadcaster has been with the promotion since 1997, with the legend becoming just as synonymous with the sport as any of the fighters.
However, that doesn’t mean that he’s afraid of voicing his opinion. Rogan recently complained about the way White was treating Magomed Ankalaev.
And now, he’s expressed another concern he has about the organization.
WOW: ‘Ridiculous’… Joe Rogan recalls bizarre first experience working for the UFC in 1997

Joe Rogan says Dana White and the UFC should’ve invested in kickboxing over Power Slap
Joe Rogan is insistent that the UFC and Dana White should’ve listened to his advice when he told them to put their money into kickboxing rather than Power Slap.
The 57-year-old is adamant that his idea would create enormous waves in the combat sports world.
During an episode of the Joe Rogan Experience Fight Companion, he said: “I think the UFC f—– up when they went with slap fighting. I’ve been telling them forever, ‘You guys should get into kickboxing’. If you only like stand-up fights, it’s not like the old days of kickboxing, where they were boring. The knockouts are f—— crazy.
“Kickboxing with MMA gloves in a cage would be giant. Just have a striking-only segment of the UFC. Glory’s got some elite fighters. I watch Glory all the time. It’s f—— exciting, but nobody’s watching it. Nobody knows who these people are.”
Joe Rogan recalls worrying moment a group of street thugs threatened to rob him
It comes as no major surprise that Rogan wants White and the UFC to invest in kickboxing. After all, the American fell in love with combat sports himself through competing in various forms of striking.
Before his time as an analyst, the podcaster was making a name for himself in tournaments, which is part of the reason the fighters have so much respect for him.
However, his skill set doesn’t just help gain the acknowledgment of those whose contests he calls, but also anyone who causes him problems.
Now, Rogan has revealed what happened when a gang threatened to rob him.
