Scotland’s own ‘Problem’ quite literally shone bright like a Diamond out in London town.
British fighters went 4-6 at UFC London; with arguably the best and most impressive victory of the bunch being scored by Scotland’s Chris ‘The Problem’ Duncan, who is now 4-1 since signing to the promotion in 2023.
In the aftermath of what’s undoubtedly the biggest win of his career, not only did Duncan credit ‘The Diamond’ for showing him the right techniques – but he also had his post-fight callout accepted in record time.

Chris Duncan credits Dustin Poirier for UFC London submission win
Despite being a sizable underdog with only 13% of the pre-fight picks on Tapology, American Top Team’s Chris Duncan scored a sensational submission win last night at UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs Brady.
Duncan submitted Jordan ‘The Epidemic’ Vucenic in the second round with a nasty guillotine choke and speaking with McKenzie Pavacich, acknowledged the lessons he’d learned from training with Dustin Poirier out at ATT.
“Well, you know, Dustin was kind enough to – he showed me some tips and tricks when it comes to finishing the guillotine and also the hand position.
“The position that I had my hands in, is the tightest [squeeze], is like game over… It’s a little bit slower in the transition if I’m moving on to other submissions, but it was Dustin that showed me that reverse handshake grip.”
Dustin Poirier was quick to hail the performance of his surging teammate, writing on social media: “Don’t be silly!!! Congratulations.”
‘The Diamond’ then re-shared a post from Sean Sheehan that read, “Chris Duncan taps out Jordan Vucenic with guillotine. Yes, that’s Dustin Poirier’s teammate.”
While Duncan’s demand for a post-fight bonus sadly didn’t come true; it took only a few minutes for his next UFC opponent to accept his call to arms.
Chris Duncan’s callout accepted within minutes by fan-favorite lightweight
Speaking with Michael Bisping in the octagon after his submission win at UFC London, Chris Duncan called out popular ‘do or die’ lightweight, Terrance ‘T-Wrecks’ McKinney.
“Well, you know who I want next – I want Terrance McKinney in Miami… So, Terrance, get your gloves on [because] you’re getting sparked, mate!”
The next scheduled event in Miami, Florida is UFC 314: Volkanovski vs Lopes, which is set for April 12, 2025.
Luckily, McKinney accepted Duncan’s callout within minutes, writing on social media: “Let’s get it, congrats on the win.”
However, in a later post, McKinney acknowledged that the UFC 314 card in Miami is already fully booked – instead, suggesting that the pair throwdown during International Fight Week in June.
“Miami card is full, international fight week sounds perfect to me,” he wrote on X, following up with a second post: “International fight week, UFC lock it in Twrecks vs The Problem.”
