Conor McGregor has been warned that he is being chased across promotions after his long-time rival moved one step closer to a fight between the pair.
The legendary two-weight world champion faced off with Jeremy Stephens after his win over Eddie Alvarez in Philadelphia back in January. Just moments later, he demanded that promoter David Feldman announce that the fight had been made, despite both men having complicated contractual situations.
McGregor is currently locked into a UFC deal that has two fights left, while Stephens had also fought out his contract with the promotion. But after announcing his return to the octagon this week, it seems Stephens is one step closer to making the grudge fight happen.

Jeremy Stephens sends chilling warning to Conor McGregor as UFC fight looms
Now that there is a legitimate chance of Conor McGregor and Jeremy Stephens fighting, ‘Lil Heathen’ has launched his all out attack on the Irishman. He took to social media to share a threatening message, to which the Irishman has yet to respond.

He is currently preparing for his return to the octagon on May 3 in his hometown in Iowa, facing the returning former Cage Warriors champion Mason Jones. He claims to have an invite ready for McGregor, telling him he can no longer ‘run’ from the fight.
“Conor McGregor you cannot run from me,” he wrote, tagging the UFC and BKFC. “I will find you and I will Kill you boy! Your time is up, I got you a front row seat in IOWA too. Wells Fargo event center my hometown. Watch me Break another jaw.”
Conor McGregor and Jeremy Stephens’ rivalry is almost a decade old
The initial showdown between Conor McGregor and Jeremy Stephens took place at a press conference to launch UFC 205. That event took place in November of 2016, but the launch event was two months earlier and led to an iconic meme.
As Stephens attempted to take the spotlight and call out McGregor by declaring he is the hardest hitting featherweight in the world, the Irishman effortlessly took him down. He feigned turning around before simply replying ‘who the f— is that guy?’
The moment lives in infamy, and led to the pair finally facing off in Philadelphia after Stephens’ win over Eddie Alvarez in January.
