Gabriel Silva, the son of UFC legend Anderson Silva, made his latest opponent look like an amateur.
Instead of taking the MMA route like his father, the former UFC Middleweight Champion, the 27-year-old decided to pave his own way in the boxing ring, competing against fighters and influencers alike.
Silva’s fought three times under the Misfits Boxing banner, his last fight a TKO loss to former Bellator star Anthony “Pretty Boy” Taylor in August. Taylor would go on to fight ex-UFC star Darren Till not long after.
The Brazilian bounced back over the weekend at popular streamer Adin Ross‘ ‘Brandrisk 5’ boxing event on Saturday. There, he’d cross paths with ‘USA Saiyan’ Brendan Kelly – though, it wasn’t much of a fight.

Gabriel Silva scores two knockdowns in one round
It was one-way traffic more than anything else with Silva’s skills and experience prevailing over a staggering Saiyan.
Silva countered Saiyan with a beautiful uppercut and a follow-up right hand to put him down in the second round.
On wobbly legs, Saiyan returns to his feet with the referee taking precautionary measures to see if he could continue. This was the beginning to the end, a short jab from Silva sending Saiyan back to the ropes and onto the canvas.
Saiyan’s team stopped the contest, saving him from any further damage and Silva was announced the winner by TKO in one of his strangest fights to date.
What’s next for the son of ‘The Spider’?
Before losing to Anthony Taylor last year, Gabriel Silva put together back-to-back wins in Misfits Boxing against multi-sport commentator Ben ‘The Bane’ Davis and OJ Rose.
Following his victory on Saturday, Silva talked about what’s on the horizon at this point of his career.
“There’s a lot of options on the table,” Silva said of his next fight in an interview with Fred Talks Fighting.
“I’ve been wanting to fight last time, I was very pissed with [Misfits] ’cause I only fought once a year…
“I’m at the beginning of my career now and I wanna stay active so I’ll fight anybody, any weight, anytime.
“Well, not any weight,” Silva added. “But I’ll go up and weight class go down, doesn’t matter.
“Just give me fights man. Just give me opportunity.”
