The UFC Vegas 104 main event was hit by a slight delay due to a strange reason.
Marvin Vettori fought for the first time since 2023 at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday night.
Roman Dolidze was the man standing in the way of ‘The Italian Dream’ and a comeback win.
The middleweight duo previously fought at UFC 286 in March 2023, with Marvin Vettori getting a unanimous decision win and Dolidze walking away with plenty of lessons learned ahead of their eagerly anticipated rematch.

Marvin Vettori forgets his cup
Dolidze was in the Octagon ready to go when his latest fight was hit by a slight delay.
Vettori could be seen deep in conversation with the UFC officials before he entered the cage.
In a bizarre scene, his whole team turned and walked away after the discussion was over.
Soon after, it was revealed that Vettori had forgotten to put on his cup before making the walk.
It didn’t take long for him to get everything in order and allow the UFC Vegas 104 main event to begin.
Still, fans and fighters were quick to point fun at his wardrobe malfunction on social media.
Fans react to Marvin Vettori’s wardrobe malfunction
Fellow UFC middleweight Paulo Costa mocked Vettori’s intellect following his viral blunder.
“Marvin Vettori is probably the smartest fighter ever right after Tito Ortiz. He just forgot his cup,” he sarcastically tweeted.
Amazingly, this is not Vettori’s first pre-fight wardrobe malfunction. The 31-year-old infamously had his shorts on the wrong way during a photoshoot to promote his UFC 263 middleweight title fight rematch with Israel Adesanya.
Fans were quick to bring that up after Vettori’s latest attire issue delayed the UFC Vegas 104 headliner.
“Typical Marvin haha,” one fan said. While another added: “Better than backwards shorts.”
“How is that even possible,” someone else asked.
“He never lets an opportunity to be a dumbass go by,” a fourth fan wrote.
“Is this a joke lmaooo,” this person laughed.
“People should forget their cup more often to annoy their opponents and make them have to wait in the cage longer. Vettori a low-key cerebral assassin,” a sixth fan theorized.
