Many fight fans are convinced featherweight prospect Luke Riley is the next big thing.
Paddy Pimblett‘s teammate stretched his perfect record to 11-0 at Cage Warriors 185 on Saturday night.
The 25-year-old scored an impressive second-round knockout win against 9-2 fighter Tariel Abbasov.
Post-fight, fans flooded social media with comments aimed at Dana White and the other UFC bosses.

Fans convinced Luke Riley is UFC ready
Riley snatched the mic and implored the UFC to ‘get me signed’ after his latest high-profile win.
Many fans tried to help him get that message to White and co. on X – formerly known as Twitter.
“@danawhite SIGN THIS MAN ALREADY,” one fan said. While another added: “Luke Riley is a star. 11-0. @ufc make that call.”
“What’s UFC waiting for,” someone else asked.
“The UFC needs to sign Luke Riley,” a fourth fan insisted.
“Luke Riley to the UFC needs to happen now. Long overdue. HUGE following too. Cmon! @Mickmaynard2 @danawhite @ufc,” another X used wrote.
“LUKE RILEY NEEDS TO BE IN THE UFC ALREADY,” a sixth person commented.
What’s next for Paddy Pimblett?
As his teammate angles for a UFC contract, Pimblett is preparing for his biggest fight to date.
‘The Baddy’ is 6-0 in the Octagon, but the jury is still out on his ability to be a top-class lightweight.
Pimblett will get the chance to prove himself against long-time contender Michael Chandler next month.
They’ll clash in a five-round co-main event at UFC 314, which will take place in Miami, Florida on April 12.
Pimblett recently named Ilia Topuria on a three-man hitlist of opponents he wants to face after Chandler.
“After I beat Chandler I’d love to fight Ilia next but we’ll see what happens,” he said.
“I’d love to fight (Dustin) Poirier, I’d love to fight (Charles) Oliveira, I just wanna fight someone who will get me a title fight because obviously that’s what we do this for.”
