Tony Ferguson may need a new opponent for his GFL debut, according to KSI.
‘El Cucuy’ recently brought his legendary UFC run to an end after eight successive defeats.
Tony Ferguson signed with the new team-based fight league, GFL, and booked a fight with Dillon Danis.
Before they clash, Conor McGregor‘s teammate is set to box KSI in Manchester, England on March 29.

KSI sends menacing pre-fight warning
KSI slapped Danis with a pancake during a fiery first face-off ahead of their Misfits Boxing grudge match.
On Tuesday, he shredded McGregor and his relationship with Danis in an aggressive social media rant.
Now, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has warned that Ferguson will need to find a new opponent.
KSI promises that his win over Danis will be so devastating that the divisive American will be forced to retire from fighting.
“I don’t think people understand what I’m about to do to Danis,” he tweeted.
“His fight with Ferguson will be dead.
“His UFC dreams will be dead.
“His career in combat sports will finally be dead.”
Dillon Danis sparring Alex Pereira ahead of ring return
Danis put on a pitiful display in his DQ boxing debut defeat against Logan Paul in October 2023.
Ahead of his return to the ring, the BJJ specialist has been working on his striking skills with Alex Pereira.
The recently usurped former UFC champion will be rooting for Danis to get the win later this month.
“I think it’s a good fight with two big names,” Pereira told Bloody Elbow ahead of his loss to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
“I trained with him today, and obviously, he’s a different weight, a different size than I am, and a different style as well.
“But he was doing very well, He is training with us, and I’ll be rooting for him – I couldn’t say anything different. But I’ll be watching the fight and hope he wins.”
