New angle of Mauricio Ruffy’s knockout

On Saturday night, a fan in attendance at UFC 313 shared footage of Ruffy’s KO from their point of view.

It has since racked up thousands of likes and over 170,000 views on X – formerly known as Twitter.

Fans leaving comments under the viral post were a mixture of impressed and jealous of the cameraman.

“This angle is crazy, wow,” one person said. While another added: “You saw something special there.”

“I’ve watched this 10 times & I still think he’s going to throw a left hook,” a third fan exclaimed.

“Perfect seat for that KO sheesh,” someone else commented.

“What an angle, what a kick,” a fifth fan said.

“What a thing of beauty,” this X user added.

King Green issues statement

A section of fight fans called for Green to retire in the aftermath of his latest UFC loss.

The 38-year-old was hoping to get back in the win column after being choked unconscious by Paddy Pimblett at UFC 304 last July.

During his current 1-3 run in the Octagon, Green was also viciously knocked out by Jalin Turner, who retired at 29 years old after his shock submission against rising lightweight star Ignacio Bahamondes at UFC 313.

Turner’s old rival is almost a decade older than him, but he refuses to walk away from MMA.

“This is the game we play,” Green said in a video posted to his Instagram story.

“There’s wins, there’s losses, that’s just how it goes, you know? Shout out to Ruffy, you did your thing brother. I’d like to see you have success in your future, obrigado, and shout out to everybody that rocked with me and came through this whole thing.

“I love all you guys, thank you so much for supporting me through all this b——-, we’re not done. I feel like I just need some more time to get myself back used to being in the cage. We’ll be back.”
