Dana White hints at Alex Pereira vs Magomed Ankalaev 2

During the UFC 313 post-fight press conference, White hinted at what might be next for Pereira.

“A fight that close, with a champion as great as Pereira has been, do you lean towards an immediate rematch?” veteran MMA reporter John Morgan asked.

“Probably,” White replied to set the wheels in motion for Pereira vs Ankalaev 2.

Some fans took to social media with complaints about the judge’s scorecards after UFC 313.

However, the UFC boss expressed his belief that the right man won on Saturday night.

Alex Pereira reveals what’s next for him

Pereira flirted with the idea of moving up to heavyweight ahead of his fight with Ankalaev at UFC 313.

After losing his title, the 37-year-old didn’t speak about weight classes or potential opponents.

However, ‘Poatan’ did reveal that he will return to the gym and begin preparing for whatever is next.

“I’m gonna keep training,” Pereira told Rogan in the Octagon after losing his 205lb UFC belt.

“I feel good, I don’t think I’m hurt in any way.

“I’m going to take a few days off and get back to training. This is my life.”
