Conor McGregor has pulled back the curtain on how much money he made from his last UFC fight against Dustin Poirier in 2021.
‘The Notorious’ hasn’t fought inside the UFC Octagon since he fought Dustin Poirier in a historic trilogy back in 2021.
Unfortunately for Conor McGregor, the bout ended unceremoniously when he snapped his ankle at the end of the first round.
The Irishman was scheduled to make his highly anticipated UFC return last year against Michael Chandler, however, a few weeks before their scheduled fight at UFC 303, McGregor withdrew due to a broken toe.
Since then, the 36-year-old has been implored to officially retire from combat sports amid rumors that he will fight Logan Paul in the boxing ring.

Conor McGregor claims he made over $32million from his last UFC fight
McGregor has been involved in some huge fights throughout his career, from his grudge matches against Nate Diaz and ‘The Diamond’ Poirier, to the biggest fight in MMA history against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
During his UFC tenure, he has become known as the biggest star the sport has ever seen and that has come with several huge paydays, including his surprise boxing fight against Floyd Mayweather.
Last Saturday in Saudi Arabia, one of the greatest boxing cards of all time took place, with a main event between Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev.
The historic card that was put together by the consensus savior of boxing, Turki Alalshikh, had blockbuster names from top to bottom and because of that, came with a lot of big payouts.
Since then, the reported payouts have surfaced on social media with the total payout exceeding $32million, with Bivol and Beterbiev both taking home $10million.
Despite it arguably being the biggest boxing event of all time, McGregor has claimed that he made more money in his last fight against Poirier, than the entire boxing card combined.
“If accurate, I made more than this entire card’s estimated payout combined in my last outing for the UFC. 2021. I garnered record gate, as well as record PPV’s for the company through my service. #MONEY,” the former UFC double champion said on X.
Will Conor McGregor return to combat sports?
Having made as much as he has made throughout his career, it is becoming increasingly hard to believe that ‘The Notorious’ will return to combat.
Despite the large majority being under the belief that McGregor won’t return to the UFC, his rival, Chandler believes there is still a chance.
However, with former UFC double champion now part owning bare-knuckle boxing promotion, BKFC, he is eyeing a potential fight under the BKFC banner.
McGregor has continuously teased at a potential fight without gloves, however, with him still likely under contract with the UFC, that is blocking any potential of a bare-knuckle fight.
