Jake Paul continues to turn heads in the combat sports world and Floyd Mayweather is the latest star to criticise the YouTuber turned boxer.
Ever since his emergence in professional boxing, Jake Paul has faced criticism after criticism, largely because of the opponents that he has faced in the ring.
‘The Problem Child’ only made matters worse last November when he took on Mike Tyson in an extremely controversial fight considering Tyson’s age.
Despite the ongoing criticism of that record-breaking fight, Tyson and Paul made a huge payday which softened the blow for the 58-year-old who lost the decision.

Floyd Mayweather targets Jake Paul as he trashes his career
A few months removed from their fight, Tyson admitted that he doesn’t remember anything from the fight which led to further criticism from the fans.
Following his fight against the former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion, Paul was close to agreeing a deal to fight superstar, Canelo Alvarez.
Despite that, the consensus savior of boxing, Turki Alalshikh offered Canelo an exclusive deal so that he could snatch the fight away from Paul, who Alalshikh has criticized in the past.
And with the 28-year-old now wondering who his next fight will come against, he has been targeted by one of the sport’s biggest stars, Floyd Mayweather.
Earlier this week whilst making an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Falon, Mayweather claimed a fight against Paul would be ‘too easy’.
“Me and Logan (Paul), we did an exhibition, and that’s why he moved to WWE because he wanted to hold me the whole night,” Mayweather said of his exhibition fight against Logan Paul in 2021.
“(Jake Paul would be) easy. Too easy. At 48 – too easy,” Mayweather continued.
Jake Paul hits back at Floyd Mayweather following his comments
Of course in typical Paul fashion, he hasn’t just sat back and listened to the criticism from ‘Money’ Mayweather and has fired back at the superstar.
“You bum. Deji gave you a black eye in an event that had 4,000 people in it. Deji hahahah. I would knock you out in 2 rounds and you can’t sniff Mike Tyson’s toe,” Paul responded on X.
Since his retirement from professional boxing after finishing Conor McGregor in round 10 of their historic fight, Mayweather has taken part in several exhibition bouts, taking credit for the crossover craze.
With Paul’s continuous rise in superstardom and Mayweather’s tendency to attach himself to huge fights, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Paul vs Mayweather take place in 2025.
