MMA icon Chuck Liddell did just as much fighting in the streets as he did in the Octagon.
The former UFC light heavyweight backs himself to beat boxing legend Mike Tyson in a no-holds-barred matchup.
Chuck Liddell was also a part of the infamous street brawl that saw Tito Ortiz get knocked out by Lee Murray in 2002.
Now he’s told the story about taking on three men in a street fight that ended with a vicious KO.

Chuck Liddell tells 3 vs 1 fight story
Chuck Liddell recently appeared on the Jake Shields’ Fight Back Podcast to talk about his life and career.
‘The Iceman’ named Alex Pereira as his favorite active UFC star before opening up about his street fighting days, which saw him play the hero when he stumbled across three men beating up a helpless victim.
“I remember one time I was in Sloan and I’m driving down the street. I pulled up to a red light and I saw these three guys beating up this guy on the ground,” Liddell said.
“I just put my car in park, got out, ran over, and kicked a guy off. I had one guy held on top of the other guy that he was holding down. Had his hand behind his back.
“This guy came running up and I just kicked him. Bang! Got him right in the chin and he just went to sleep.
“I did quite a few fights like that, it was a lot of fun out there. We had a lot of crazy times.”
Chuck Liddell names his favorite street fight strike
After years of having fun in street fights, Liddell has perfected one knockout blow.
“Elbow. Clean elbow,” the UFC legend replied when asked to name his favorite street fight strike.
Liddell added: “I used to do clean elbows. I’d catch guys with elbows all the time.
“I did just about everything. I jumped off of cars, threw flying sidekicks, I’ve done spinning backfists and everything.
“Yeah, I did [head kicks] quite a few times.”
