Alex Pereira has traded leather with an array of legends, and while his latest sparring partner certainly wasn’t of the same quality as the warriors he’s used to exchanging punches with, he certainly has the name value.
On March 8, at UFC 313, inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, ‘Poatan’ will attempt to defend his light heavyweight throne against Magomed Ankalaev.
To get himself in shape for the eagerly-anticipated clash, he’s putting in the hard rounds inside the gym.
While Pereira is refusing to train with Jon Jones, he’s quite happily moved around with a star of the rap industry.

Alex Pereira spars with Action Bronson ahead of fight with Magomed Ankalaev
With his title defense just around the corner, Alex Pereira has done some sparring with Action Bronson.
The artist, famous for hits like Baby Blue, laced up the gloves and went toe-to-toe with one of the greatest strikers of all time.
The American uploaded footage to his Instagram of the Brazilian testing his skills.
Instantly, Pereira started finding a home for his body shots, with Bronson having to go on the back foot.
Showcasing a degree of fight IQ, the rapper blocked several headshots before firing back with his own jab, followed by a right hand, which were both comfortably dealt with by the UFC champion.
With ten seconds left on the clock, the pair unleashed, with Bronson landing to the body, while Pereira connected both upstairs and downstairs.
As the spar came to an end, the pair hugged, before heading in separate directions.
