Joe Rogan reveals his favorite post-fight moment in UFC history

Joe Rogan has been part of some of the most memorable post-fight moments in UFC history but he has whittled it down to his favorite of all time.

Throughout the 32-year history of the UFC, there have been some extremely iconic post-fight moments, from melees to hilarious one-liners.

One of the most memorable moments in the history of the promotion was when Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s teams had a huge post-fight brawl, however, that was remembered for the wrong reasons.

Someone who has been a present for the majority of the most memorable moments is UFC icon, Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan reveals his favorite post-fight moment of all time

A hilarious memorable moment that Rogan was part of was when Derrick Lewis removed his shorts following his win at UFC 229, claiming ‘My balls was hot’.

However, when asked recently what his favorite post-fight moment of all time is, the icon picked a more serious moment that will have likely motivated the next generation of fighters.

In 2023 at UFC 287, Israel Adesanya rematched Alex Pereira after losing his middleweight title to him just five months prior, in what will go down as one of the biggest rivalries in UFC history.

Having lost to ‘Poatan’ twice during their kickboxing careers, ‘The Last Stylebender’ may have been thinking that he would never beat the Brazilian and that he simply had his number.

Despite that, the Nigerian went on to knock Pereira out in the second round, scoring one of the biggest knockouts in the sport’s history. Following the fight, Adesanya went on to shoot one of the best post-fight interviews ever.

“This is my favorite moment of anybody after they won a fight. This was real, in the moment, (beating) a guy who’s the f—— boogeyman, dude,” Rogan began to explain on the Joe Rogan Experience.

“Alex Pereira is the boogeyman. He’s the scariest motherf—– in this sport. He knocked Izzy out twice… And then Izzy finally knocked him out.

“This was a classic f—— moment and then he grabs the microphone and gives one of the most inspirational speeches. When you hear (his post-fight speech), you’re like wow, that’s what makes the whole career worth it'” Rogan continued.

Other legendary post-fight moments in UFC history

One extremely popular post-fight moment that most fans will remember for years to come, is when Nate Diaz pulled off a huge upset win against ‘The Notorious’ McGregor at UFC 196.

“I’m not surprised motherf—–,” Diaz said after pulling off one of the biggest upsets in the sport’s history.

Another moment that echoed throughout the MMA world was when Leon Edwards head-kick KO’d Kamaru Usman in the final moments of their UFC 278, becoming the new welterweight champion.

During his Octagon interview with Rogan, Edwards touched on the difficulties he faced in the early stages of his life, from living in a shack with a zinc roof to knocking out the pound-for-pound number-one fighter on the planet.
