Controversial featherweight Bryce Mitchell didn’t take long to acknowledge rising star Jean Silva’s callout at UFC Seattle.
Jean Silva extended his now-four-fight knockout streak with one punch on the UFC Seattle main card. Silva, just minutes into his fight with Melsik Baghdasaryan, landed a massive right hand that dropped Baghdasaryan before finishing the fight with brutal ground-and-pound.
Silva is now tied with Alex Pereira and Carlos Prates for second place (4 knockouts) on the UFC’s active knockout streaks list. Fellow featherweight Steve Garcia still leads the pack with five consecutive knockout victories.
Silva has solidified himself as a rising star as a part of the surging Fighting Nerds team. He’s now won 12 consecutive fights overall and moves to 4-0 in his UFC promotional tenure.
After another wild finish at UFC Seattle, Silva didn’t hesitate to call out Bryce Mitchell for his next UFC fight.

Bryce Mitchell responds to first fighter callout since recent controversies
It didn’t take long for Mitchell to reply on social media.
“There’s only one LORD. and it aint u fool. U needa country a– whoopin. it will humble u just rite,” Mitchell posted on X.
A timeframe for Mitchell’s UFC return is uncertain as of this writing. He hasn’t appeared in the cage since a TKO win over Kron Gracie at UFC 310 in December.
Mitchell would be a massive step up in competition for Silva if the UFC matchmakers make the fight happen. UFC CEO Dana White said during the UFC Seattle post-fight press conference that ‘there’s probably many people’ who want to see the fight come to fruition.
Mitchell snapped a skid of two losses in three fights with the victory against Gracie at UFC 310. He’s also defeated the likes of Andre Fili and Edson Barboza in his UFC tenure after his stint on The Ultimate Fighter.
Jean Silva is a budding featherweight star after extending knockout streak
Silva is on a roll with 12 consecutive victories and a four-fight knockout streak. A win in his next fight could potentially propel him into the featherweight Top 15, which is in desperate need of new, fresh talent.
Silva’s callout wasn’t the only headline made at UFC Seattle. The card began with seven straight stoppages, including Ricky Simon’s Washington homecoming finish against Javid Basharat.
One of Tom Aspinall’s training partners got the show started with a brutal knockout over an impressive prospect. The UFC Seattle main event ended controversially.
