After losing in their previous encounter, the Louisianan was determined to gain his revenge, putting together an exceptional performance over the course of two entertaining rounds.
However, as is often the case, Jones adapted, spotting a hole in his rival’s game and utilizing it to land a devastating head kick to close the book on their story.
But regardless of whatever happened in the contest, the victor never felt he needed to gain the Olympian’s respect anyway.
