Darren Till set to box 14-fight UFC veteran on KSI vs Dillon Danis undercard

Darren Till is set to face a fellow former UFC middleweight on the undercard of KSI vs Dillon Danis.

In 2023, the one-time welterweight title challenger was released after losing to Dricus du Plessis.

Darren Till insisted that he asked for his UFC contract to be torn up so he could focus on overcoming a repeat knee injury while also making money in the influencer boxing world.

Since then, he’s picked up two boxing wins over Mohammad Mutie and Anthony Taylor to put himself in contention to take on the likes of KSI and Jake Paul at some point in 2025.

Darren Till books an appointment with ‘The Dentist’

First, ‘The Gorilla’ must impress when he competes on the undercard of KSI’s fight with Danis.

They’ll meet in the main event of Misfits Boxing X Series 21 at the AO Arena in Manchester, England on March 29.

Till was always expected to fight on the undercard, and now his opponent has been announced.

Former UFC light heavyweight and middleweight fighter Darren Stewart is the man he will face next.

‘The Dentist’ fought 14 times in MMA’s premier promotion against the likes of Kevin Holland, Eryk Anders, and Edmen Shahbazyan, who will return to the Octagon at UFC Vegas 102 in a few hours time.

Stewart will be coming back from a brief combat sports retirement. The 34-year-old cited financial difficulties when he announced his decision to walk away from fighting last August – now he’s back after getting an offer he couldn’t refuse from Misfits.

Darren Till wants big-name, big-money fights

Till has always been open and honest about why he entered the influencer boxing world.

The father of four wants to make as much money as he can, and to do that he needs big fights.

Stewart isn’t that, but fighting on a KSI undercard is an opportunity to show he’s main-event material.

Ultimately, he’s got a four-man hitlist that he wants to run through before potentially returning to the UFC.

“This year I want to fight KSI, Tommy Fury, Mike Perry, and Jorge Masvidal, I want four more fights,” Till told iFL TV in January.

“This Monday, I’m going to get back in the gym for March, I’m not even going to think about an opponent, I’m going to train super extra hard for this March.

“After March, two in the summer, one in the winter, and then I’m either going back to the UFC next year or potentially go to pro boxing. That’s the plan.”
