Two UFC light heavyweights from different eras are currently beefing online.
Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson was the king of 205lb fighters in 2007 and he hasn’t fought in MMA since suffering an embarrassing KO loss against Fedor Emelianenko in 2019.
Anthony Smith is still competing, but he’s coming to the end of his career. The one-time UFC title challenger emotionally teased retirement after his latest loss before confirming he will return to the Octagon for one final fight.
In the meantime, he’s found himself on the receiving end of an angry Rampage.

Rampage Jackson takes aim at Anthony Smith
Jackson’s podcast has recently been caught in controversy due to an interview with UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell being taken down soon after its release.
TJ Dillashaw also made headlines on the show when he boldly claimed Kevin Holland would never be a UFC champion and insisted that he falls into the same category as Smith, who he is sure will never win a world title.
In the latest episode, Rampage Jackson unleashed a furious X-rated rant at Smtih, who has angered him with his response to all of the above.
“I’m telling y’all b—–a—motherf——, soft-a– motherf——out there, y’all need to chill the f— out and quit being little b—–,” he said.
“Yeah, TJ shouldn’t say nobody shouldn’t be a f—— champion, but that’s TJ and I respect him for that. He’s standing on business. He’s one of the greatest to ever do it in his motherf—— weight class. Some of you guys are just b—-.”
“This s— got me p—– off. I’m going to tell you, tell that Anthony Smith motherf——, call that motherf—— up, tell him to keep my motherf—— name out of his motherf—— mouth.
“I see his b—- a– I’m going to smack the f— out of him.”
Why is Rampage Jackson so angry?
Rampage’s angry rant was triggered by Smith accusing him and his podcast co-hosts of disrespecting their guests.
The former opponent of Jon Jones noted that Jackson isn’t typically the one saying disrespectful stuff but claims the UFC legend sits there laughing as it happens around him.
“You bring fighters on, you s— on them. It happened to me,” Smith said on his On Paper podcast.
“You brought me on, you’re super cool to me. I had a good time. I love Rampage, he’s my favorite fighter, I’ve said that for years. You’ve heard me say that a hundred times, Rampage is my favorite fighter. You bring me on I have an amazing time and several months later you’re on there with Dillashaw f—— making fun of me.
“That’s what they do, that’s their thing. Honestly, it’s less Rampage, he’s just kind of the funny ha-ha guy, and he just laughs about stuff.
“They’re just not great to fighters, they make fun of a lot of people. They did the same s— to Ian Garry when he was supposed to go on the show and then they spent the show before that calling him a c—.
“Whether you think Ian Garry’s a c— or not, you can’t bring the motherf—– on the show the next episode after calling him a c— and making fun of his family dynamic or him and his wife and his kids… I don’t agree with that.”
