‘Absolute unit’… Gregory Rodrigues impresses fans with chiselled physique ahead of UFC Vegas 102 main event

Gregory Rodrigues is in sensational shape for the biggest fight of his UFC career.

The 32-year-old has smashed his way into middleweight contention with three straight Octagon wins.

On Saturday night, he’ll get the chance to headline against former UFC title challenger Jared Cannonier.

‘The Killa Gorilla’ wants one final run at UFC gold before retiring – but Gregory Rodrigues seems to be in the best shape of his life and ready to record the biggest win since turning pro in 2014.

Gregory Rodrigues got jacked for UFC Vegas 102

Rodrigues recently took part in a photoshoot to promote Dana White‘s latest card at the APEX.

The Brazilian showed off his impressive physique as he posed topless in his UFC fight gear.

It didn’t take long for an image of his jacked body to begin getting passed around on social media.

Countless fans left comments after being blown away by the shape he was in for his fight with Cannonier.

“My god Gregory,” one fan wrote. While another said: “He reminds me of Robocop.”

“Beast,” a third fan commented.

“I need to get on his diet and supplementation,” someone else marveled.

“Absolute unit,” a fifth fan tweeted.

“Gregory coming home with a head on Saturday,” this person predicted.

Gregory Rodrigues eyes middleweight title shot

Rodrigues watched from home as Dricus du Plessis defended his 185lb belt at UFC 312 last weekend.

The middleweight champion obliterated Sean Strickland’s nose en route to a lopsided points win to set up a potential clash with Khamzat Chimaev.

Rodrigues knows that even if he beats Cannonier this weekend, he’s still got work to do to earn a title shot.

Still, he’s optimistic that he can keep his winning run going and become a genuine middleweight contender in the not-too-distant future.

“I’ll beat Jared Cannonier, and then I’m not going to wait so long to fight again,” Rodrigues told UFC.com.

“I’m excited, because I see these changes, and I’m moving together with them. So it’s going to be a great time for the middleweight division, with so many good, new stars coming up, and I will be one of them.”

He added: “Probably one more fight or two more fights this year, and I see myself fighting for the belt really, really soon.

“So, I just need to do my job, the perfect job that I have been doing, and my time is gonna come.”
