Eddie Hall vs Dillon Danis would’ve been one of the most bizarre fights in recent memory, with a deal to match the pair just falling short of being made.
The bizarre MMA bout would’ve pitted the 2017 World’s Strongest Man against a Brazilian jiu-jitsu legend in a clash that nobody would’ve anticipated.
However, just a month after The W.A.D.E. Concept advised Danis to retire from boxing, he’s chosen to return to the squared circle rather than the cage.
The American will go head-to-head with KSI on March 29 at Misfits 21, inside the AO Arena in Manchester, UK.

Eddie Hall was too heavy to fight Dillon Danis
According to Misfits Boxing, the collision between Eddie Hall and Dillon Danis failed to come to fruition due to the enormous weight difference between the pair.
In his grudge match vs Hafþór Björnsson, the Englishman tipped the scales at a whopping 335 pounds, while the esteemed grappler weighed just 195 pounds against Logan Paul. This equates to a monumental 140 pounds between them, which, in context, is a whole Teofimo Lopez.
However, this doesn’t rule out the encounter ever happening. After all, Hall recently fought the Neffati brothers, who weighed 143 pounds a piece.
After two rounds of frustratingly running after the significantly smaller men, the strongman eventually triumphed, launching one of the siblings on his head, before brutally rendering him unconscious with a ferocious right hand.
With time almost up, Hall chased the other brother down, taking him to the canvas, unleashing ground and pound that forced the referee to dive in.
Therefore, many would believe he would simply manhandle Danis. However, while that may be the case, one slip-up could see him in a submission he simply couldn’t break.
Rico Verhoeven dropped Eddie Hall
Hall isn’t scared of competition, regardless of the discipline, recently paying Rico Verhoeven a visit ahead of his most recent Glory heavyweight world title defense.
The Dutchman gave the powerhouse a genuine insight into what it takes to scale the kickboxing mountain.
And, of course, Hall couldn’t resist asking Verhoeven to give him a kick, which ultimately sent him spiraling towards the canvas.
