Khamzat Chimaev shares X-rated reaction to Dricus du Plessis beating Sean Strickland at UFC 312

Khamzat Chimaev was not impressed by the way his middleweight rivals performed at UFC 312.

‘Borz’ watched from home as Dricus du Plessis shattered Sean Strickland’s nose en route to a lopsided unaminous decision win to defend his middleweight title at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on Sunday morning local time.

‘DDP’ is now 2-0 against the wacky American and in search of a new opponent to test his 185lb reign.

UFC boss Dana White recently confirmed Chimaev is next in line for Dricus du Plessis and the Russian phenom was quick to react in the immedaite aftermath of the South African’s second title defense.

Du Plessis vs Strickland 2 wasn’t the most eventful fight until a popped nose made things interesting.

Strickland impressed fans by putting it back in palce, but he was unable to mount any meaningful offense.

Ultimately, the former champion slumped to a unaminous decision defeat courtesy of 50-45, 50-45, and 49-46 scorecards from the cageside judges.

As the result was confirmed, Chimaev took to X – formerly known as Twitter – to trash the UFC 312 headliners.

“Biggest bulls— is this fight,” the 14-0 UFC star tweeted.

Chimaev followed that up with another post specifcally aimed at du Plessis, who he tagged.

It was a picture of him looking menacingly at the camera alongisde a devil emoji.

Can Khamzat Chimaev fight in the US?

It’s been rumored that Chimaev can’t travel to the United States due to his long-standing relationship with the Head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, who is currently under sanction for human rights abuses.

Over the years, Chimaev has struggled to attain a visa to fight in the USA – but White insists that won’t be a problem after his recent relocation to the United Arab Emirates.

“Don’t listen to any of that bulls—,” the MMA mogul responded to a question regarding Chimaev struggling to enter the USA after UFC Saudi Arabia. “He’ll get in the United States. I’m very confident that we can get him into the country.”

So, whenever he fights du Plessis, they could end up headlining a massive UFC card in the fight capital.

Only time will tell where their clash will land, but it seems desinted to take in place at some point in 2025.
