Jake Paul leaks the contract that would’ve seen him fight Canelo Alvarez in huge boxing blockbuster

Jake Paul continues to sit and wait for his next challenge in the boxing ring after Canelo Alvarez opted for a different challenge.

Earlier this week, news broke that Jake Paul was extremely close to securing a monumental boxing clash against Super Middleweight champion, Canelo Alvarez.

Originally, Canelo was set to take on Terence Crawford in a huge fight but talks for that seemingly broke down as he favored a fight against ‘The Problem Child’.

Despite that, the most powerful man in boxing, Turki Alalshikh offered the Mexican champion an exclusive multi-fight deal with Riyadh Season to put a stop to talks of Paul vs Alvarez.

The Saudi Arabian Chairman has expressed his feelings about Paul and his antics in the boxing world previously and isn’t his biggest supporter.

Jake Paul leaks the contract that was in place for Canelo fight

For several years now, the main criticism the 27-year-old has faced is that he cherry-picks his opponents, knowing that they are either far smaller than him or way out of their prime.

Of course, the internet sensation turned boxer caused huge controversy this past November when he pulled 58-year-old, Mike Tyson out of retirement and fought him live on Netflix.

Following that outing, he was called out by several professional boxing champions such as Artur Beterbiev and Daniel Dubois, amongst many others.

However, the 27-year-old has remained adamant throughout his boxing journey that he wants to fight Canelo, and following their talks breaking down, he has flamed the boxing champion.

Although a fight between Paul and Canelo may have seemed like a long shot, ‘The Problem Child’ has leaked the contract that was in place for the shocking fight to take place.

“Oh, Canelo, you puta,” Paul began in a video on his Instagram.

“Time to expose him. So we had a signed contract to fight. Here you can see Canelo’s signature and my signature to the right.

“Claiming he’s not fighting YouTubers, bulls—, look at the poster. We were announcing Tuesday, February 11th. Claiming he fights real fighters but he’s fighting Crawford, a 135lb fighter, and running from a real fighter like David Benavidez, you b—-,” he continued.

Despite there being a big weight difference between Alvarez and ‘Bud’ Crawford, they are regarded as two of the best technical boxers in the world.

“You’re a money-hungry squirrel chasing your next nut. The truth is, these sports-washing shady characters are paying you 100’s millions of dollars to stop our fight from happening because they couldn’t fathom the fact that they can’t create a bigger fight than me and you.”

Jake Paul makes one promise to Canelo Alvarez

With talks of their fight having now completely broken down following Alvarez’s signing with Riyadh Season, Paul has made one promise to the Mexican champion.

“Remember you told my team that your daughter came home and asked if you were fighting Jake Paul? She was all excited. You said that was the first time your daughter’s ever asked you about a fight.

“I promise you one thing Canelo, any fight you do this year, mine will be bigger, so go f— off to your boss,” he claimed.

It is unclear who ‘The Problem Child’ will target now but whoever he steps in the ring with next, he has an even bigger point to prove.
