Sean Strickland falls off his motorbike days before Dricus Du Plessis rematch at UFC 312 in new footage

Sean Strickland found himself on his back in the lead-up to UFC 312, but it wasn’t through sparring, rather falling off his motorbike.

On Saturday night, the American will go head-to-head with Dricus Du Plessis in an eagerly-anticipated rematch inside the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia.

After a razor-close first fight, one of the sport’s most polarizing characters will attempt to earn his redemption over ‘Stillknocks’.

However, had his motorcycle fall been a little worse, he may have had to withdraw from the contest.

In just a matter of days, the middleweight division’s number one contender will attempt to recapture his throne, with Sean Strickland adamant he has the game plan to beat Dricus Du Plessis.

With the fight so important to him, the challenger has been training incredibly hard in the gym. However, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t enjoyed taking some time out to ride his motorcycle.

In a video captured by UFC Embedded, Strickland elegantly strokes his green vehicle before hopping on and giving it a few revs.

With a huge smile on his face, to impress the cameras, he attempts to pull off a wheelie, before losing control of the motorcycle and falling onto his back.

Luckily, Strickland wasn’t hurt, with the athlete chuckling before jumping back on. This time, he didn’t attempt to show off, with the fighter simply riding off into the distance, saying: “Motorcycles are fun because they are f—— scary. Every time you get on one, your b——- puckers a little bit, and you’re like, ‘This is real scary, but real fun’.”
