Terrance McKinney scored a blistering first-round KO over Damir Hadzovic to return to the win column on the UFC Saudi Arabia prelims this Saturday.
‘T-Wrecks’ has been inactive since last May having suffered a devastating Knockout of the Year contender against Esteban Ribovics.
At one point the 30-year-old was considered a bright prospect at lightweight but after suffering back-to-back losses against Ismael Bonfim and Nazim Sadykhov, he became the forgotten man at 155lbs.
A few wins and losses later, Terrance McKinney was matched up with Damir Hadzovic who was also looking to rebound from a loss to Marc Diakiese.

Terrance McKinney uses 12-6 elbows to score first-round KO
McKinney is most well-known for his explosive striking, which can sometimes lead to losses as he often leaves himself open to attacks.
Early on in his fight against Hadzovic in Saudi Arabia, the 30-year-old landed a hellacious knee which led to a takedown attempt from Hadzovic which was reversed.
‘T-Wrecks’ then showcased his slick jiu-jitsu skills by transitioning to full mount where he then reigned down 12-6 elbows, which were made legal only last year.
Since the legalization of the new elbows, there hasn’t been an instance when a fighter has really taken advantage of it, with Gillian Robertson being the only one to land it in unusual ways.
The piercing elbows opened up a cut on the eyebrow of Hadzovic but the American didn’t let up with his attack. The Bosnian turtled to his back but it didn’t help as McKinney continued to reign down elbows.
Shortly after, Jason Hertzog stepped in and called the fight to spare Hadzovic any more damage. With that, McKinney returned to the win column and once again showed why he is a favorite amongst the fanbase.
Terrance McKinney calls out Britsh fan favorite
After scoring the impressive first-round win, McKinney called for a fight against British fan favorite, Chris Duncan.
“It’s all glory to god and I’d like to fight Chris Duncan next, baby, let’s get it,” he said in his Octagon interview.
McKinney and ‘The Problem’ were scheduled to fight each other in October 2023 but Duncan pulled out of the fight on late notice because of visa issues.
The Scotsman is usually a shoo-in to be included on the UFC London cards and the promotion recently announced that their return to the UK capital is set for March 22.
