‘Knuckle up’… Ben Rothwell accepts call out from UFC icon after BKFC KO and Francis Ngannou challenge

While Ben Rothwell called-out Francis Ngannou after his huge victory at BKFC: Knucklemania 5, he could have another challenger on his hands in the form of a fellow UFC legend.

And it’s fair to say the man in question would be nothing short of terrifying in a bare-knuckle fight.

Mark Hunt wants to fight Ben Rothwell for the BKFC heavyweight championship

On Saturday night, Ben Rothwell produced a truly spectacular performance against Mick Terrill in front of a raucous crowd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

In just 36 seconds, the American unleashed a thunderous right hand to knock his opponent unconscious to claim the BKFC world heavyweight championship.

After a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice, Rothwell can finally say that, at the age of 43, he has climbed the combat sports mountain.

However, while he celebrated in the ring, by the time he’d arrived at the post-fight press conference, attention had switched to whom he might take on next.

With his eyes set on a monstrous showdown, ‘Big Ben’ called out Francis Ngannou in a battle of the power punchers.

And the PFL Super Fights heavyweight King isn’t his only potential foe, with Mark Hunt taking to social media to give Rothwell an opportunity to avenge his loss from their MMA fight in 2011.

Raring to go, the champion enthused: “Yeah, let’s do it! You think I’m going to say no? Let’s f***ing go motherf***er. Knuckle-up.”

‘Conor McGregor just told me’… BKFC boss Dave Feldman gives huge update on UFC legend’s fighting future

BKFC: Knucklemania 5 certainly delivered in abundance, with a plethora of stars landing memorable knockouts right in front of Conor McGregor.

With that in mind, it comes as no major surprise that the Irishman is keen to set foot in the ring himself.

After the event, he spoke to David Feldman, and gave the businessman a huge update on his potential debut in the promotion.
