Robelis Despaigne beats Marcos Brigagao in 12 seconds at Karate Combat 52

On Friday night, in Miami, Florida, USA, Robelis Despaigne set the world alight, producing a magnificent performance in front of a raucous crowd.

In one of the most highly-anticipated bouts of the evening, the taekwondo Olympic bronze medalist went head-to-head with Marcos Brigagao, in a clash that provided entertainment in abundance.

Within seconds, the Brazilian was in trouble, as he struggled to deal with the shots coming his way.

Realizing he could finish the fight early, Despaigne connected with a thunderous left hook, which sent his opponent crashing towards the canvas.

As his rival rose to his feet, ‘The Big Boy’ launched a savage uppercut to finish his rival once and for all.

Subsequently, an elated Despaigne sprinted towards his corner and began celebrating, much to the delight of his screaming fans.

The victory marked the warrior’s second big win in Karate Combat, with the 36-year-old destroying Dominik Jędrzejczyk in just four seconds in his previous outing.

Despaigne wasn’t the only fighter to pick up a massive victory last night.

Alex Pereira was in the corner while his sister, Aline Pereira, went to war with Amanda Torres in a battle of two esteemed strikers.

In the end, the sibling of the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion produced an outrageous knockout before celebrating wildly with her brother.
