Conor McGregor tries to save the cannolis as BKFC weigh-in takes a turn

While fans are most excited for what is likely to be an absolute barnburner between Eddie Alvarez and Jeremy Stephens, John Garbarino did a fantastic job of promoting his own fight with Apostle Spencer.

In a moment of madness, the warrior stormed on stage with a box of pastries, handing them out to his opponent as well as Conor McGregor and David Feldman.

Falling for the trick, Spencer smiled, appreciating the gesture, until his adversary flicked a switch and smashed it out of his hand.

Enraged, the man who’d just watched his sweet treat fly towards the floor, made a lunge for his new nemesis.

This was a major mistake, as Garbarino had hatched a plan. He waited for his rival to get close enough before bouncing a cannoli off his opponent’s head and covering him in icing.

The crowd and McGregor absolutely loved it, with the Irishman chuckling at the outrageous turn of events.

He later tweeted: “Save the cannolis.”

It’s clear that McGregor has fallen in love with BKFC to such an extent that he’s willing to fight in the sport himself.

The Dubliner hasn’t competed since breaking his leg against Dustin Poirier back at UFC 264.

Despite an arranged contest with Michael Chandler and rumblings of a boxing bout with Logan Paul, nothing has come to fruition.

However, McGregor hasn’t given up hope of having another epic night under the lights, recently giving a huge update on his potential BKFC debut.
