Jake Paul rips Conor McGregor’s relationship with Dana White: ‘You don’t control your own career’

The Paul brothers seem to take turns ripping into Conor McGregor; and after a rather strange link-up at Donald Trump’s inauguration, it’s The Problem Child’s turn to take aim.

The former UFC double champion has had a long, long rivalry with both Jake and Logan Paul, although the three did initially appear to ‘squash their beef’ as they traveled to the inauguration ceremony earlier this week.

Those niceties lasted for a few hours, at most, with videos later showing Conor McGregor snapping at the older brother amid rumors of a $500 million boxing match later this year.

Jake Paul rips into Conor McGregor after strange ‘link up’ in DC

On Wednesday, YouTuber turned WWE superstar Logan Paul shared a new VLOG to his social media pages, showing part of his day traveling with McGregor, brother Jake Paul, and a whole host of fellow combat sports stars.

“You kept your mouth shut, you did,” said McGregor to Logan, teasing that he’d been “very quiet” regarding speculation that the two could find themselves facing off in the boxing ring in 2025.

“You’re giving all this, ‘Dana this, Dana that’ [when] you’re f****** controlled by the WWE as well, bro – don’t be giving it all this,” ranted the Irishman, with those comments being a sticking point for the younger brother.

Taking to his own social media page earlier today, Jake Paul would label McGregor a ‘total clown’ over his remarks that his brother was ‘controlled’ and he wasn’t.

“My guy…you are a total clown. You don’t control your own career. The conductor conducts what you do and don’t do, and you bow and say thank you for the payment, sir.”

Back to the VLOG, and as the trio shared a bus ride to the Capitol rotunda, things got heated once again – “This is the real deal; you know that bro, we’ll do it,” McGregor stated on boxing.

“We can do what? 190, 195lbs? [Jake] was sick. He was sick over it! Listen, here’s the deal. I’m going to slap the head off the two of you and KSI. You are nixers to me. Do you understand that? Side jobs.”

A decent line from McGregor, although it was Logan Paul who got the last laugh: “You can’t even do your main job, how are you going to do a side job?!”

Conor McGregor teases another UFC comeback delay with new window

McGregor had to admit that he’d been beaten by Logan Paul’s final remark, before teasing that the social media star needs to keep an eye on “November, stay tuned.”

Whilst that’s far from confirmation regarding his UFC comeback, November would be in line with Dana White’s recent assessment of Notorious’ situation.

On a recent episode of Pardon My Take, the UFC CEO would laugh off the idea that his biggest superstar could end up boxing either of the Paul brothers, before answering that he would “Eventually,” be back this year, “hopefully Conor McGregor returns in the Fall of this year.”
