Islam Makhachev has been told that he’s being a ‘bully’ and has to move up a division to fight Belal Muhammad if he wants to be taken seriously.

Brendan Schaub says Islam Makhachev should stop being a ‘bully’ and fight Belal Muhammad
At UFC 311, Islam Makhachev produced yet another spectacular performance, brutally beating Renato Moicano with a brabo choke inside the opening round.
The impressive display cemented the Russian as the number one pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.
Having made the most title defenses in UFC lightweight history, many are clamoring for the Dagestani to move up a weight class to take on Belal Muhammad for welterweight gold.
And Brendan Schaub is adamant that if the 33-year-old doesn’t take up this challenge, he’s nothing more than a ‘bully’.
WOW: Dana White and Daniel Cormier disagree on major issue in the aftermath of UFC 311 main event
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, ‘Big Brown, said: “Islam gotta go up, you have to go up, it’s the only thing he can do. I don’t want to see him fight Ilia Topuria, even though take my money, I’ll watch it.
“If Belal beats Shavkat Rakhmonov, I’ll bet you any amount of money that Islam would fight Belal. He isn’t going to let that friendship hold him back from being cemented as a double champ — not a chance.
“I’d love to see that. It should be Islam, no matter what, against the winner of Belal vs Shavkat. Islam vs Shavkat — f**k yes. Islam vs Belal — these are great fights.
“But the narrative of fighting a 145-pound fighter coming up, you’ve already done that, quit beating up those guys, quit being a bully.
“Go up; no one respects that small s**t. You’ve gotta go up.”
Daniel Cormier gave Islam Makhachev a special gift for his statement victory at UFC 311

Following the fight at the weekend, Daniel Cormier came into his dressing room with a beaming smile on his face.
And in a moment that filled the 155-pound King with joy, the former two-weight world champion handed him a fantastic present.
