Conor McGregor and Jon Jones compare luxury watches as they party together at ‘pretty epic’ event

Conor McGregor and Jon Jones are widely considered two of the biggest stars ever in the UFC and with that has come luxury spending.

Jon Jones is still widely regarded as the pound-for-pound number one fighter on the planet, although UFC boss, Dana White recently changed his mind and gave that title to Islam Makhachev.

Conor McGregor on the other hand has been inactive from the UFC since 2021 but remains one of the most talked about athletes in the sport.

‘The Notorious’ recently teased at a potential boxing fight against Logan Paul, however, talks seem to have stalled between the two.

Conor McGregor and Jon Jones compare watches at ‘special event’

Following Jones’ win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 309, the heavyweight champion celebrated by doing the infamous Donald Trump dance, with the president sat cageside, which he claims got him a ‘personal invitation’ to Trump’s inauguration which took place on Monday.

Jones wasn’t the only fighter in attendance at the inauguration as several big-name athletes were invited, from Georges St-Pierre to Mike Tyson, who came face to face with Jake Paul for the first time since their controversial fight.

After the inauguration ceremony, there was a ‘starlight ball’, where McGregor and Jones met and recreated a famous video.

The two met back in 2014 when Jones was at the peak of his powers and the Irishman was rising up the rankings and making a lot of noise.

“Did you flash that Roley (Rolex), did you flash that Roley? The number two Roley around,” McGregor joked with Jones.

“You know, we’ve got some Rolex’s. What do you mean the number two?” as the two began to play fight.

11 years on and both fighters considerably more wealthy, they once again compared their luxury watches at the starlight ball.

“The number two Roley around,” Jones said as he pointed at McGregor’s watch.

“With the number one,” he said as he flashed his own watch.

“Ah give it over now will you, one and one and a half, one and one and a half. Free the lads,” McGregor replied.

Conor McGregor meets up with Bryce Mitchell at inauguration

Jones and the Paul brothers weren’t the only fighters ‘The Notorious’ shared a moment with as he also spent some time with UFC featherweight, Bryce Mitchell.

Mitchell is one of the most controversial fighters in the UFC because of his bizarre views and takes on several different things.

“I had the experience of a lifetime celebrating the inauguration. God really hooked me up with the VIP experience. I prayed with (Conor McGregor) and (Jon Jones),” Mitchell said in a post on his Instagram.

“Real good skin! God bless you brother,” McGregor told Mitchell.

It is unclear whether McGregor will return to the UFC Octagon, however, White is confident that the former double champion will return in the fall of 2025.
